English Poem – Wish there was a world..
Wish there was a world…
Where, for once, I could be happy,
Where I could smile, could be carefree.
Could stop expecting from people,
And just start behaving like ME.
Wish there was a world…
Where poeple wouldn’t just leave me alone,
Only because of my stupid mistakes.
Where I could find out the Lost ME,
And for once, could stop behaving fake.
Wish there was a world…
Where people could at least understand,
Where they could lend me a helping hand.
Could hug me tight, and listen to my heart,
Could realise that even I do have a heart.
Wish there was a world…
Where I wouldn’t shed tears anymore,
Would finally forget all those sorrows.
Could just have a Best Friend to count on,
And could hope for happier tomorrows.
Wish there was a world…
Where mind was free from all regrets,
And heart did not hold any grudges.
Where I could behave the way I like,
And people wouldn’t become evil judges.
Wish there was a world…
Where I wouldn’t be so vulnerable,
And people weren’t so ignorant and selfish.
Could accept me for what I am,
Could care more about relationships.
Wish there was a world…
Where people were not sarcastic,
They could see my positive side too.
For once, could they show faith in me,
Could watch my efforts, I’m trying too!
Wish there was a world…
Where people wouldn’t try to change me,
Where I could be what I wanna be.
Where I wouldn’t be blamed for each and every thing,
Where even I could be treated as a human being.
Wish there was a world…
Where only happiness resides,
Where there were no tears to hide.
Could see cheerful faces all the while,
Where I could have a million reasons to smile.
Wish there was a world..
