The dog had again come back. He stared at Sundaram for a moment and then quietly squatted by his side. The dog evoked a sense of companionship in him which he often missed and yearned for.
Amla had a disapproving expression on her face. “You will not do that. Birds should never be caged. Set them free. They are meant to fly, and not to be caged.”
Snehal was slowly regaining her composure. She smiled at him and broke the silence, “So Ranjan or shall I call you Shravan Kumar– what do you have to say?”
