After Dark – Story on an incident of meeting a vampire

I am cave explorer and Anthropologist. Once i went to explore the forests surrounding Himachal Pradesh. These forests have several hills with ancient caves in them. I decided to stay at my friend’s bungalow, which is situated on the outskirts of the village and very near to the hill ranges. The local villagers have made up several stories about the hills. Blood thirsty vampires are rumoured to reside there. Anyways i was unperturbed by the stories.
One night after dinner i was taking a walking downtown. But i thought of going in the direction of the hills. At first i was scared but then i felt thrilled and excited. Not knowing of the danger that lay ahead. It was quite late at night, the full moon shone brightly, the sky was dotted with millions of stars, cool breeze was touching my face and hairs. Suddenly i heard a crushing sound of dried leaves. I turned about, but couldn’t see anything. I heard the whooshing sound of wind in circles all around me, but still couldn’t see a thing. I began to get scared. I put up a brave face and decided too go back for now,and come back later in the morning. As i turned back towards the bungalow i felt an eerie presence. Somehow i thought if the stories of vampires were true. If so then they might be out in the jungle hunting, and i may fall as a prey. Imagining thus, i increased my pace. All the while chanting prayers.
Out of nowhere sprang up someone in front of me. I was very scared and barely uttered the words “who are you?”
The figure was in dark. It slowly advanced towards me. When it came in the moonlight i saw its face. It had black hair, deep red eyes, two white fangs and a devilish grin on its face. He was tall and dressed expensively. It took me awhile to realise ” O my GOD its a Vampire!”
Realising thus i took to my heels. Nowhere to go i ran in the direction of the jungle. After running for,what seemed eternity i was tired and exhausted. I hid behind some bushes, carefully silent. I still couldn’t believe that vampires exists.
It started raining. I saw him searching for me, he Found me. He grabbed,me and pull me near to him. He was going to bite me. I closed my eyes and screamed NOOOO!
Everything went standstill. He let go of me and pushed me on the ground. He disappeared into the darkness. I was soaked and shivering due to fright. I got up swiftly and ran towards the bungalow.
