Dear Mr Doctor,

I write this letter to you to tell you that our baby is with you since the last two months. Please could you send him very soon? You know, he is very important for us.

My father brought it the day of my birthday. I was nine years old. My father had bought a cake for me, but since we are very poor, I had only 5 candles, from the birthday of sister on the 4th of May. My sister and I were playing, when suddenly Father came with the baby. He gave it to me, and I carefully unwrapped it, and I saw its beautiful face. It was a boy. It could not be a girl, since he was my birthday gift.

Mother said to me, “It is now your baby. Take care of it.”

And I took care of it. I remember the day when he smiled, and his face lighted up. I tickled him everywhere, and he gurgled. I even put him in a nice white cloth so that he may not get dirty. Father bought its food, and I gave it to him.

“But not too much”, Father said. “Just the right amount.”

When I went to school, Father let me play with him only during weekends. I wanted to bring him with me to school, but then, Miss would punish me. One day, I took my courage to do it, to take him to school. As I took him gently in my hands to hide, Mother suddenly came and he fell onto the floor. It did not make much noise. He did not cry, but from then, he neither ate well, nor looked well, nor lighted up at me. Every time I tried to play with him, he showed me his blues, and went to sleep immediately, and I cried. Then Father had to bring him to you, in a little box he had made for him.

I feel really guilty of having hurt him, but I love him. I know Father cannot afford another like him. So please do send him back to us very soon. We all are counting on you to make my PSP 3001 alright.

Yours sincerely,

Andy.
