You are here: Home / Poetry / You would have seen her

You would have seen her

Published by Anjana in category Poetry with tag Dream | flower | Rain | Sad

Somewhere in the midst

of this beautiful world

a tiny flower bloom

She was surrounded by the

fragrance of rose

The purity of jasmine

The beauty of sunflower

Divinity of Tulsi and many more

All these neighbours made her

quite lower and unimportant

Not because she is worst but she

was nothing special

No god chose her as His garland

No men buy it for his love interest

No girl plucks it as a hair décor

Her only choice was to be a

small part of a bouquet

that no one cares or even  notices

And throw away after the use.

Day by day her beauty fades

No one noticed except her

Every day in her life constantly proved her she is a loser

Dawn always breaks with a bad news for her

She neither complaint nor accepts the fate

Just been there like a picture portraits

She slowly move back to a more darker space to avoid every eye

Still she thinks many are concerned about her

She stands alone there in the dark

And all

misunderstood that as her choice

All considered her loneliness

as arrogance as zero efforts is

needed to be judged

Nobody asked her welfare

Not anybody wanted her opinions

Even though none of her doings

affect anybody, all considered her

as a burden that should be removed

As fast as possible.

In the midst of heavenly flowers

She was a misfit everywhere

As all were busy in burying her somewhere

She finds God as her only solace

She slowly realised

God has no ear for her any day

Nobody understood her words

Nobody understood her silence

She was all alone ( surrounded by so many ) till from her birth

She never come across anybody’s path

She never gave a word in anybody’s life

She just wanted to please everyone with her mild behaviour

All get pleased when they have any urgency and easily forgotten her

She steals nobody’s happiness

But all steal hers

She wanted nobody to be sad

But none concerned about her feelings

Her friends swing in wind

Jump in rain

Become brighter in Sunlight

And shy in moonlight

They all act as the nature demands

Never did she has the courage to do so

As seasons changed

They cut down her from root and throw it away in the well

She drink a lot of water and died after sometime.

If there was an epitaph for her it would have written

“you would have seen her somewhere who born as a dreamer and died with nothing fulfilled”

At least in that matter she is unique
