A Poem – WAR OF LIFE !

I lost the battle a thousand times
Yet I remain undefeated,
For every war when I suffered,
I stood again with vigor and strength.
Umpteen conflicts I came across
This the journey of life known for,
Stranded I got lost in storms
Hitherto I remain deep-rooted and strong.
Won I over the meager thoughts
disturbed my peace who like prickly thorns
conceded the agonies of destiny
never to raise their hood in cacophony.
Crushing the egos of character
I walked upon its white washed feather
Once again to clear the arena
To face another challenge of life with mettle.
Hostile forces had discord
When I refused for truce and went on
campaigning for the royal win
Whence my soul will triumph over the sin.
Every war brought misery
In girths of darkness it pushed many,
A tiny flame of hope sustained
persistently lighting the lane,
guiding me through the dubious alley
invigorating me with its ablaze.
Exhausted sometimes by the surge
swimming against the flow of gush
mocked many who passed by
for my foolish try against the upheaval.
Unheeded I continued the debacles
until I reached the shore desired
With strenuous arms, soared elbows,
I hoisted the mast on enemy’s head!
Beneath the stone shelled bod of mine,
lay a soft heart very pristine,
peace hath shown her a glowing shine
She awaited my victory over the whines…
I like a glorious youth in love,
Went ahead to be a martyr
Lest worried ,she may be swooped
Like a lotus from the stagnant pool…
I firmly tied her to my mind,
Stood like a rock against the time…
For ages the conflicts continues,
The war against the lie and truth…
I lost the battle a thousand times,
Yet I remain undefeated
in the furies of time
walking forth magnificently
glowing with a resplendent shine….
