[That Other ME – Poem on Mind]
ever felt that sudden rush of emotions or ideas which otherwise are quite alien to yourself…. that sudden upsurge of strength , unbeatable feeling of power which stops right at the surface…. and your left with nothing but the disappointment of failing to embody it…. this part of you , you wish to control , to use it rather than just being a mere spectator of its sudden revival and swift subsidence into nothingness.
That Other ME – Poem on Mind
My usual daunted self
would have seen me shine,
And I know that you …
you would have been mine.
I walk in the corridors
where your shadows run,
I sleep in the alleyways
where your nightmares begun.
I am you…
looking at you from a distance.
The sun rises
and i merge into your existence.
I fight for space
in the mind of your own.
I fight for you
when your spirit is gone.
But only if you …
you would have been mine,
I could have shine
And shine and shine.
