Poem on Life – RINSE THE SINS!

In the darkness of night when the world sleeps
in dreams of unfulfilled aspirations
I lay awake and ponder with my eyes
gazing the vast sky turning black from the blue sapphire
like bejeweled gem it had sparkled all throughout the gorgeous day
golden aureate had glowed the azure with myriad blazons.
How many colours the azure changes like the changing minds
yet every morning it becomes the scarlet
scattering the rays of hope
onto the world enlightening
for the long night never stops, its luminous brightness radiating
as seeds of faith are always stronger and more trusting!
Dreams of desires, decorate ourselves subconsciously
If only we asked and wished to make us a better human being
life could have been a beautiful flower so enchanting
disseminating the fragrance of love and humanity…
But man is known to be a person of selfish motives
happiness he sees for himself,
smile of others makes him unhappy!
What a paradox this human life is
we kill the hopes of others
to let live our fantasies!
Hath not this deed so shameful
ever pricked the conscience
what can the laws of nation change
when the system is sold for few jingles!
Awaken the man from such slumber
O ! Almighty!
where he shall die in the restless dreams
without realizing his sinful thinkings
Let a light dawn on him
the next morning in which he can see the real
colour of his selfish perspectives!
Let the rivers of thy nature come and wash
the thoughts which have impured the
minds and hearts
of the humans living here…
let the waters rinse the souls of the
fallen trod
shower on them the grace of love
to let them emit the fragrance
instill the essence of compassion
lost which has been in the dark
come as a Saviour ! Save thy world
from falling into a dark chasm!
