Not because you’re going to go,

But coz I promised you so.

 

These verses are not for fame

They are just to let you know

That this parting is just a show,

Coz relations like ours, distances never blow.

 

To put you to words,

Is too difficult a task

Which m not capable of doing

Even if you plead, request or ask.

 

I would have told you

You’re nice

You’re confident

You’ve been there

You always had something new

You always had the helping view

But then,

All these are bits,

Bits of you

Your affection, your care

Nothing new,

Just plain Bits of you.

 

Come to think of it

I am aiming to break you

Bit by bit

 

One bit for the times we laughed

One bit for the times we fought

One for all the rounds

One for the city grounds

One for all those assignments

One for all those moments that meant

But , alas

There still remains so much

Of you, for me to show

To tell you how much I know

If nothing else,then just that

How much on a person

Your affections grow.

 

Yes, Offcourse you’ll be missed

Can’t be helped even if I wished

Adieu is never nice

And always someone cries

With you its different

Coz I know, I’ll always have
