Poem on Life – Lifeless

Walking on the lonely roads Alone living an ignored life,
when you feel you are not worth anything.
Nobody knows you and you know everybody.
There’s nothing in you that distinguishes you from others ,
which makes you unique,
which makes you recognizable among the crowd ,
which makes you feel special.
Spending evenings staring the sky,
thinking when will your stars shine ?
just living life ,not loving it.
You are scared to face people ,
you don’t want to meet anyone ,
you don’t want to go to parties,
gatherings, you find bliss in oblivion.
you are not like others or it can be said they are better.
Life is stranger here than it had been in your dreams,
here it is a bit tough , worse than you expected ,
you find yourself like a crow
with no beauty no melody, nothing that attracts others.
An emotionless life less compassionate and secluded..
Deprived of everything love , .
money ,pleasure,joy..everything…
deprived of the things that people of your age lure for.
you want to forget the past
and don’t want to think about the future and present is monotonous.
every time,every minute every second is the same..
but it does not matter to you now.
No laughs no emotion..
Unacquainted with the word “joy”.
You have expressions that never change,
eyes that are stoned .
You have a mask of dreams in your eyes.
But still hope is there in your eyes,
waiting for that day to come .
when days will get better
and when time will change ,
when joy would be your ally.
when money will be there in pockets
and love will be in the air,
When you will meet someone
who will ignore all your rough edges
and love you more than anything else.
When time will change, when things get better and better.
You will get to know life again….. this time really well
