My baby!!
What all you did bring back in my life!!??
I forgot to notice an ant,
I forgot to listen to the music of rain drops,
I forgot the cats, dogs, lizard on the wall,
I have become dumb to falling leaves,
Creating a soft & light music,
Forgot to observe the green leaves,
Chirp of birds in the morning,
Colours of butter fly,
Curious eyes and looks of a sparrow,
A crow splashing rain water using its body.
Where were you all these days?
Your curious eyes opened the doors for me.
Of newer worlds, which existed for so long here?
I am here, I was here, but forgotten.
Forgotten to see, hear, observe,
Experience the beautiful world around.
You have come to help me refresh,
Refresh my thoughts, views and myself.
Darling, What I did teach you – it is nothing.
When compared with what you gave me.
I will preserve this precious gift all along,
As you cannot become a baby again,
As I cannot re-visit that world again.
Flowering
I thought I will write a Haiku,
I thought I will write a sonnet,
To fill my darling’s bosoms fill with love,
A Ghost hit me with a stick and uttered;
‘Fool you cannot write, allow it to flower.
Otherwise you will have my fate.’
Ways of Love
I told my darling,
I will hold your hand till infinity.
She hit back, saying:
“You fool first live this moment!!”
I told her I will bring happiness,
She asked, ‘from where?!’,
Furious I asked, ‘do you love me?’
‘I don’t know’.
Getting angry I pushed her into the lake,
Quickly she grabbed my hand,
As we fell together said she -‘I do’.
Lake smiled & hugged us with a bubble ring.
Dark Humour
I like this paradox!!!
You’re sitting on my grave,
With no expression on your face,
Almost smiling and talking casually,
But you’re crying inside so deep!!
I’m happy – since those around you,
Not able to grasp this.
So you’re not in trouble!!
Happy since those around;
Did not curse me,
So, I am out of trouble!!
My heart jumped out of the grave,
Held on to a falling petal,
And kissed your lips,
For creating such a beautiful dark humour.
Otherwise I cannot rest in peace!!!
